I still hate Sovintel / Goldent Telecom... to my amusement... they've been bought out by another company... one can only hope for the best.

No Communication with the outside world

Yesterday from 3am to 11am Moscow time... Our office was left stranded without any communications (no phones no internet connections...) And little of anything that resembled an explanation... The only reason we knew something was wrong was because one of the IT boys has his Blackberry setup on a London server so his blackberry was working. Incompetence doesnt begin to describe Sovintel's behavior.

Where it all started

A year ago our office started the process of acquiring a new PBX (June06). In this regards there were choices. Sovintel promised the best offer and service so they were choosen. To make a long, sad, frustrating story short, this project was not completed until May of 07. It was implemented half assed (for example our phones worked but the voicemail option was not turned on...)

Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to allow for an outlet to those of us that are continously bent over and screwed by our beloved telecomunications provider Sovintel/Golden Telecom.
